How will you continue to protest?

Donating, using my body and platform to affirm black lives matter.
Petitioning the state of Kentucky to arrest the murderers of Breonna Taylor
Using my body and platform to affirm black lives. I try to donate when I can. And definitely petition for Breonna Taylor’s justice.

I have begun to donate to an organization who provides funding and mentorship to black youth and enterprises. I am not able to go out and join protests due to living with a very vulnerable and high risk individual to COVID-19.
When there is a vaccine and the risk isn't so high I will join the protests in my city.
Donate when I can, continue to hit the streets, try to be better about using my social platforms to stay engaged and elevate black voices

How would you change the public's relationship with law enforcement?

Defunding the police
Making it much more difficult to attain and retain a police badge.
Defund. Get rid of anyone with domestic abuse or assault on their record. Vet potential cops more and check their social and past to make sure they aren’t spreading racism and/or are racist.
Making it much more difficult to attain and retain a police badge
Police officers will be charged and not protected when they use racist and excessive force during confrontation with black people. Budgets are reconfigured to support the communities to eradicate poverty, provide, create community gardening, ...
... employment and training programs for good paying jobs. More mental health councilors responding to welfare checks. The law doesn't unfairly target one group over others and it is applied the same way regardless of colour and socio economic backgroud.
DISARM police. REFORM police. TRAIN police. POLICE police.
Defunding the police is a silly goal
The issues we face with police are not because of overfunding. It is because our police are heavily armed, lack training, and are protected from the law they enforce.
More responsible programs to inform, teach, and reevaluate the police. We need deeper accountability when it comes to hiring these police before putting them out to do their job.

How do we eradicate racism in our generation?

By actively standing against racism and prejudice in all aspects of life and career.
By listening to the desires of people of color and holding my white friends and family accountable
Hold people accountable and stop giving passes for blatant racism. We have to leave space for people to grow and learn. But I’m over seeing these people especially in government get passes after repeated racism!
Fire all racist healthcare workers first and foremost.

Reparations need to happen and it's not about removing aunt jemima from the bottle or abolishing the police. We need to focus on the MONEY. Black communities and businesses need CAPITAL. ...
... We can pat ourselves on the back for yelling at police officers, but without CAPITAL, black communities will continue live in a country dominated by white people and racism will continue to be prevalant

Is capitalism incompatible with liberation? With love?

Capitalism distances us from our communities. It is anti-love.
I’m honestly not sure how to answer this question.
1. Yes it is. The way it operates today, yes. 2. Yes. Though love is for our relationships with our family and friends so it is not applicable to capitalism. ...
... Humans and our communities need to exchange our skills and time for money to create the best lives we can for our families and ourselves. Corporations that reduce it all to a transactional international monopolies will always be incompatible. ....
... They reduce everything to numbers on a balance sheet and divorce themselves from the humans involved and any responsibility they have to contributing and making communities better. ...
... They don't have to suffer any of the consequences their bad and or illegal activities or decisions the put in place. As long as that is the case life will not get better through capitalism.
