Thomas Mailaender, one of the best photographers working today, was invited by Franklin Azzi to exhibit work at his agency. The result is an ode to Mailaender's mastery and subversion of photography as an art medium. Two large structures, made from aluminum, dominate the room. One house/structure, predominantly red, fits well with Mailaender's sunscreen works. The other structure, the Blue Corridor, sees some of Mailaender's work processed via cyanotype. The exhibition explores the limitations and possibilities of photography. Follow Thomas Mailaender on Instagram here.
